Insufflation Filter

Laparoscopic filter prevents bacterial and viral contamination from possible backflow of surgical smoke, protecting both equipment and operating room personnel.Insufflatiion Filter with Tubing Set is used in conjunction with insufflators for intra-abdominal insufflation. The smoke filter is used as part of a smoke evacuation system which reduces particulate and odour causing noxious chemicals from surgical smoke generated inlaparoscopic procedures while maintaining a clear field of vision. Surgical smoke evacuation is controlled via the surgical smoke removal valve.It is indicated for use during any minimally invasive surgery involving insufflation, electro cautery, laser, or ultrasonic scalpel use. The filter comes in two colors, purple and clear, with matching tubing.
